MEET YOUR TRINITY REPRESENTATIVE
Trent is the co-founder of GTE Financial Capital, Angus Gas Recover Systems, and TAG Capital Group. These three companies provide equipment leasing, senior debt placement, and financial advisory services to privately owned middle market businesses.
In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities at these companies, Trent is an active private equity investor and manages a portfolio of assets in the community banking, middle market, and real estate sectors.
Trent also spent more than 20 years in the community banking sector, where he held executive positions such as interim CEO, CFO, senior lender and board of directors member. Trent was a founder, director, and executive of Collin Bank (sold to Independent Bank, NYSE: IBTX in 2013) and served as the interim CEO and CFO of First State Bank of Miami (sold to AIM Bank in 2014). He is also an honorarium co-councilor and executive mentor at Southern Methodist University’s (SMU) Southwestern Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB).
Trent holds a bachelor of business administration in finance from New Mexico State University and is a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. He lives in Plano with his wife Kathleen and their two sons, Cooper and Tyler.
