Sanjay Chandra is a Principal for TPEG Securities, LLC
Sanjay serves as a Principal and Managing Partner at Trinity Investors and its affiliated companies, where he is actively involved on a full-time basis. He brings more than 30 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and active private investor.
In addition to his day-to-day role at Trinity, Sanjay serves on the boards of several portfolio and affiliate companies, including American Leather—which he co-founded in 1990 and where he previously served as President and Chief Financial Officer—as well as Robokind LLC, ELB Learning, Nuclein LLC, Falcon Structures LLC, and Bentwood Kitchens, Inc. He also serves on the board of the Longhorn Council of the Boy Scouts of America, where he is Vice President of Development.
Sanjay is a Special Advisor to Urban Genesis, Capital Boutiq, and AllTrades, and serves as Chairman of the Engineering Advisory Board for the Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2025, he was recognized as one of Dallas’ top leaders in D CEO’s prestigious Dallas 500.
Prior to co-founding American Leather, Sanjay worked at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting, a division of Arthur Andersen & Co.), where he specialized in computer-integrated manufacturing systems, business systems development, and Just-In-Time manufacturing methodologies. He later served as Director of Systems Design at the George Group, focusing on cycle-time reduction and productivity improvements in business and manufacturing operations. The George Group was acquired by Accenture in 2007.
Sanjay graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is also a CFA charterholder with the CFA Institute.
