In February of 2022, Trinity Investors(formerly Trinity Private Equity Group) partnered with RLG Capital for the second time to acquire Kamaka Air (“Kamaka”). Headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kamaka is a leading Hawaii inter-island air cargo company serving the sub-five-ton air charter and air freight markets via its wholly owned fleet of Cessna 208Bs and Cessna 408Sky Courier. Kamaka is a sub-contractor for several major air-freight delivery companies including FedEx and UPS and has built a strong customer base in the Hawaiian inter-island air cargo market, with over 90% market share to and from the islands of Molokai and Lanai.
