In June 2013, Trinity Investors (formerly Trinity Private Equity Group) partnered with S2 Capital to acquire and renovate Ventana at Valwood, an apartment community located in Farmer's Branch, Texas. In August 2017, the partnership closed on the sale of the property. Trinity investors realized an internal rate of return (“IRR”) of 48.4% and a cash-on-cash return of 315%. S2 and Trinity expect two additional distributions to occur within several months, and these distributions will push the final IRR to ~49.8% and the final cash-on-cash to ~329%.
