In August 2017, Trinity Investors (formerly Trinity Private Equity Group) partnered with ClearWorth Capital, LLC to acquire and renovate two garden-style multifamily communities within 1.5 miles of each other in the Clear Lake area of Houston, Texas. The Hamptons Apartments (since renamed Grand Hampton) was built in 1974 and 1975 and has 347 units. Las Brisas on El Dorado (since renamed Creekside Villas) is a 202-unit community built in 1978. Trinity provided $10.56 million of preferred equity and mezzanine capital.
In September 2021, the partnership closed on the sale of Grand Hampton.
