Trinity Investors Fund, Inc. is a private venture capital firm that provides short-term bridge loans and acquires stock in high-growth, early- to middle-stage companies. The goal is to achieve long-term capital gains through a diversified portfolio of equity investments in rapidly growing companies positioned to go public. The companies receive restructuring support and guidance in raising capital. A short-term bridge loan is made to select companies. The short-term bridge loan is paid back with interest from funds generated through subsequent rounds of investment capital. The company borrowing the capital issues stock to the Fund in an amount proportional to the loan. Matching stock to funds loaned allows for a large potential return to Fund investors. As the stock in these companies reaches liquidity, the Fund’s stock value may increase many times over. Stock appreciation and liquidity can occur through a company being acquired, a "roll-up" merger, a stock-for-stock swap with a public company, or other public exit strategy.
